BW-C45 Distributed Mission Architecture
BW-C45 is not only a VTOL airframe — it is a carrier platform for distributed mission architecture: one carrier, multiple interchangeable mission assets, coordinated through Mission OS. V1 research scope centers on an EPM Payload Interface concept — electro-permanent magnetic docking, modular payload attachment, rapid payload exchange — validated in simulation before ground tests. Recovery remains a separate research track.

Not implemented · not operational
Responsible R&D: no operational swarm · no autonomous recovery · no docking or return system on V1. Subdrone deployment is simulation-first; recovery remains a separate research program.
Architecture FROZEN until first V1 flight-test campaign
MALE-class carrier for FPV-class sub-drones (~0.85 kg). Civil R&D: search and rescue support, infrastructure inspection — simulation only.
Electro-Permanent Magnetic (EPM) payload interface architecture on a deploy-only validation prototype. Modular payload attachment — low holding power, no continuous energy draw, no moving lock elements. Mission asset deployment validated in simulation only.
